Your privacy
Privacy policy
This policy explains how X2 Estates Ltd handles personal information when you visit this website or contact us about property matters.
Who we are
X2 Estates Ltd (company number 16038762), registered in England and Wales, is responsible for personal information submitted to this website. Our registered office is 1711 High Street, Knowle, Solihull, England, B93 0LN. For privacy enquiries or rights requests, please use our contact form.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, enquiry type, any telephone number you choose to provide and your message. Confirm email is used to check for typing differences and is not included separately in the enquiry email. Our hosting provider may process necessary technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for site delivery and security. The application does not log enquiry content. Temporary per-instance abuse counters use a hash of your email address and expire after a short period.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, discuss your property-related request and keep a relevant record of our correspondence. The usual legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries, or taking steps you request before entering into a contract, depending on your enquiry. Additional uses may need to be explained separately if you become a customer.
Marketing
The contact form does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We will update this notice before introducing any marketing subscriptions.
Where information goes
Successfully submitted enquiries are sent from our hosting environment through Google’s Gmail service to the X2 Estates mailbox. Hostinger and Google may process information as service providers, including internationally depending on their systems. Their own privacy and data-processing terms govern their handling of information. If you would like more details about the providers used, please use our contact form.
How long we keep information
For enquiries that do not lead to a customer relationship, we normally retain the enquiry and related correspondence for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact. We then review and delete information that is no longer needed. We may retain relevant records for longer where necessary to manage an ongoing matter, meet a legal or regulatory obligation, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Customer, transaction and accounting records may have different retention periods where justified or required by law.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction or erasure of your information, restriction of or objection to processing, or portability. To exercise your rights, please use our contact form. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Cookies and external services
Our website uses necessary technical resources for normal operation. Fonts and approved photographs are served locally. The application does not add analytics, advertising services or marketing subscriptions. Any additional optional cookies or services will be assessed and disclosed before introduction.
Changes
We may update this policy when our services, processes or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected in the notice published on this website.
